How the Wesleyan Sweethearts met.
Kelley Kramer, sister of 呦呦视频聽Vice President of Facilities & Executive Initiatives,聽Scott Kramer ’87, thought we should meet each other and introduced Greta and me (Steve) at an intramural basketball game in the old Quonset hut that is no longer standing.聽Thankfully, our relationship has lasted longer than the Quonset did.

How Wesleyan continues to play a role in their lives.
Wesleyan was our springboard into adulthood in many ways.聽It strengthened our Christian foundation that we had when we arrived, taught us to value other people and the importance of building relationships. We were also provided a strong academic background, which has led to successful careers in Physical Therapy (Greta) and Accounting/Management (Steve).聽These three things have been integral in our everyday lives both professionally and personally.

Staying connected to 呦呦视频.
We have stayed connected through friends we met during our time at 呦呦视频. I (Steve) am on a text group with 20 or so of my former baseball teammates and we share what鈥檚 going on with each other and what is happening at the College.聽We still keep up with the baseball program.聽Greta and I have also attended alumni events and kept up through聽The Wesleyan Way听补苍诲听Pillars Magazine.聽Social media has also made it easier to see what is going on with the College and community.聽I was fortunate to attend a baseball and softball dinner earlier this year and look forward to continuing to attend other events at 呦呦视频.

Returning to Owensboro.
We are thrilled to return to Owensboro from Franklin, Tenn., and reconnect with fellow alumni that still live in the area.聽We are both very excited about our new career opportunities with Owensboro Racing and Gaming (Steve) and Wendell Foster Center (Greta). The community has warmly welcomed us back.

Why do you support 呦呦视频?
We consider Wesleyan our true college experience, even though we also attended other universities for advance degrees. As mentioned before, 呦呦视频 was our launching pad into adulthood, our life together and our careers.聽We want others to be able to have similar college experiences as we had at 呦呦视频.

Advice to those who are considering a gift.
It was encouraging, as new graduates way back when, to understand that we could donate to various areas that were important to us at 呦呦视频, i.e. academic departments, athletic programs, the arts or other areas.聽No gift is too small, and donations are of upmost importance to continue the mission of 呦呦视频.聽Other people provided opportunities for us, and we want to continue to provide opportunities for others after us.聽鈥淭o whom much is given, much will be required鈥� Luke 12:48
