Online Business Administration Degree Program again earns national recognition
呦呦视频鈥檚 online bachelor鈥檚 degree program has earned national recognition from U.S. News & World Report for the tenth straight year as a 2025 Best Online Program. Wesleyan鈥檚 online business administration degree program also earned recognition as a Best Online Bachelor’s in Business Program in the 2025 rankings.
Current 呦呦视频 students enrolled in online degree programs are residents of 15 states and several are military personnel stationed in other countries.
鈥淲e take pride in helping our online students reach their goals and fulfill their dreams,鈥� said Lindsey (Adcock) Crowe 鈥�02, director of online learning. 鈥淭hey are part of the Wesleyan family and receive the same personal attention and encouragement our on-campus students experience.鈥�

The Keith and Vickie Sharber Communication Arts Program at 呦呦视频 will host a free public lecture, 鈥淚t Goes with You: An Evening on Kilimanjaro,鈥� Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in the Panther Room at the Jack T. Wells ’77 Activity Center (3300 Frederica Street).
Local adventurer Brandon Cox 鈥�10 will share photographs and stories from his October expedition to Tanzania to raise awareness and funds for St. Jude Children鈥檚 Research Hospital. The lecture will combine mountaineering, psychology, personal development, public relations and digital marketing.
Cox, a 2010 呦呦视频 graduate, marketing and communications professional and adjunct professor of communication arts, will discuss his planning, training and preparation to climb Africa鈥檚 highest peak. The talk will also detail the public relations and marketing strategies he employed to promote the project and ask for donations to St. Jude.
The 呦呦视频 Office of Equity and Inclusion concluded Winter Break with an Alternative Break trip to Washington, D.C. Led by Office of Equity and Inclusion Coordinator Lori Thurman, seven students, including Te鈥橝sia Calhoun ’27, participated in a week-long expedition that combined cultural exploration, service, and personal reflection.
The trip gave students the chance to visit iconic landmarks, including the Washington, Lincoln, and Martin Luther King Jr. memorials, the Capitol Building, Library of Congress, Supreme Court, and the White House. For many, the museum visits were especially impactful. Their museum visits included the African American Museum, American History Museum, Holocaust Museum, American Indian Museum, and Air and Space Museum.
Te’Asia, a freshman psychology major at 呦呦视频 Wesleyan, reflected on her travel and learning experiences.
Stacy: 鈥淲e have two college-age sons. As we started paying for their educations, I realized that without the James Graham Brown Scholarship I probably would not have been able to attend 呦呦视频 (at least not without a lot of student loan debt). I want to give others the same opportunity I had 鈥� to attend a great college where I received a top-notch education, made great friends and met the love of my life.鈥�

This investment carries deep meaning as Keith鈥檚 career began across the street from 呦呦视频鈥檚 campus when he worked in the radio industry, and the couple is now ensuring stability and programmatic support for 呦呦视频 communication arts faculty, staff and students.
