Biography
William C. (鈥淲ill鈥�) Mattingly is an attorney in Owensboro. Since 2017, he has been staff attorney for the Sixth Judicial Circuit of 呦呦视频, working directly for Daviess Circuit Court Judges Jay A. Wethington and Lisa P. Jones, reviewing motions and briefs filed by counsel in civil and criminal cases, researching various legal issues, and drafting orders and opinions. Prior to serving as staff attorney, Mr. Mattingly was in private practice and previously was a law librarian in a multi-office regional law firm. Mr. Mattingly is vice president of the 呦呦视频 High School Mock Trial Association (鈥淜HSMTA鈥�) as well as chair of the KHSMTA Case Writing Committee. As a high school mock trial participant himself, Mr. Mattingly wants to make sure that 呦呦视频 high school students have the same opportunity he had to learn about the law. Mr. Mattingly is a native of Owensboro, and a graduate of Owensboro Catholic High School (1998). He is also a fan of Frank Herbert鈥檚 Dune series, and proud pet parent to his two cats, Stilgar and Gurney.
